I don't know if its my never-ending lack of sleep, but I've found myself inspired by my coffee this week. And to get into the spirit of things, I thought I'd share my love - check out the end of the post for info on the FREE GIVEAWAY.
I remember the days when I would wake up, jump out of bed, and start my day, no pick-me-up needed. Clearly that was before Toddler G and Baby M entered my life (and before I turned the fabulous 3-0).
No matter, after an extensive search for the perfect almost-instant coffee, my husband and I discovered Nespresso. Quick note, after working as a barista in high school, I'm over grinding beans, tamping grounds, and pulling a shot. I want to hit a button and have the perfect espresso waiting for me in my cup. Back to Nespresso, with a concept model gifted to us years ago, we haven't looked back - its funny to look at it out in the garage, its enormous compared to the nice compact versions we've had since.
My husband and I are such Nespresso-addicts that we stopped in two Nespresso stores on our honeymoon, in Cannes and Barcelona - tasted just as good over there as it does at home, with a slightly more exotic atmosphere!
I must admit that I'm not a regular "coffee" kind of girl, never have been. There's something about a cup of traditional coffee that smells so appealing, but it makes me feel like I'm vibrating from head to foot, just too much caffeine, I guess. That being said, I'll take a double shot of espresso any day and feel wonderful, no jitters here!
Just before the holidays our Nespresso died, and I almost died along with it! What was I going to do? How was I going to survive?!! My husband, the amazing engineer that he is, pulled the machine apart, did a temporary fix, and we were up and running again until a new one showed up as the most amazing Christmas present ever - thank you, Ginny!
With my inspiration coming from my coffee cup, I've sourced a host of great looking espresso machines and accessories below. There's nothing like coffee, but having a machine and accoutrements that look beautiful on the counter top is divine.

I hope this round up has gotten you up and running this morning! I know it makes me blissfully happy thinking about it, I can't wait for my afternoon cup!
